    The week after half term (27 Feb to 3 Mar) the children at Ysgol Pen Coch will be celebrating all things Welsh.  Teachers are planning a range of activities possibly including but by no means limited to dance, food, stories, songs, dressing up, history, sport, language.

    At Ysgol Pen Coch we use the DIR® model to fulfil some of the requirements of the new Curriculum for Wales. We are at an important time in the history of education as many people are recognizing the needs for approaches for special needs children that look at overall development and target documented deficit areas such as abstract thinking, problem solving, independence, self-esteem, emotions, language, and social interactions in a natural and supportive setting
