Thank you for visiting our website. We hope to give you an overview of our school and share with you some essential information about who we are, and what we do.
As the primary special school for Flintshire, we pride ourselves on educating and supporting pupils who require a special school approach to maximise their potential. Our purpose build school and specially trained staff provide what we feel is a positive, supportive environment which works hard to meet the social, emotional, educational and physical needs of all its pupils.
Our school is a community in itself, as well as being part of the wider local community of Flint. Parents and carers are an essential part of that community and we pride ourselves on building close relationships with families to support our pupils at home as well as in school. We also aim to create a warm and welcoming environment for children and staff, and for visiting professionals and visitors who are important partners to Ysgol pen Coch.
Our website is currently under development so not all the relevant information may be here at present, but if you have any questions or queries please don’t hesitate to contact school. If you are a prospective parent we encourage you to arrange a visit, where you will have an opportunity to view the school building, see its facilities and meet staff.
