School dinner
All primary school children in Wales can have a free school meal if they wish. The school caterer is Newydd. The three week rolling menu is at www.newydd.wales. Meals can be chosen in advance using the Cypad app. The school office will give you details how to create an account. There is a range of options for you to be able to choose suitable meals that meet your child's dietary requirements, eg: vegetarian, religious requirements, allergies. Please contact the office if there are requirements that do not appear to be available, eg: blended meals.
Your child can bring a packed lunch if they prefer. Some children, especially those with taste or texture sensory sensitivities, may have a restricted diet. However please try to include at least some healthy items. Even if your child typically refuses them dietary advice from speech and language is that new or different items should be made available even just for the child to see in front of them.
For the safety of all our children, we are a nut free school. Please do not send in nuts or any foods that may contain nuts.
